Where the street broadens to a triangular place we find "Vægterpladsen"(Watchman's Place).

It's called so because the towns' watchmen had their quarters in the nos. 3-5. The three houses were built around 1600, but were severely rebuilt later - especially after they were sold for private housing in 1827. The middle one was even completely replaced in 1915.

Flanking "Jomfrugangen"(Maids' Walk) we find the curiosly named "Tresuren"(The Tresse) and "Det Blinde Æsel"(The Blind Donkey). They were built in 1803(for Johann Asmussen Gotsche) and about 1750 respectively.

The dominating building though is the no. 1 from before 1744.
We continue along St. Pottergade.
