våbenskjold

The narrow, steep street gives a very unhomogenous impression due to the buildings from the 20th Century.

Amongst the survivors is the no. 3 from 1737/48 and no. 5 from the 1750-ies. No. 3 was originally two seperate buildings erected for Carl Christian Hoffmeister and Johann Hinrich Brochmann respectively.

No. 8 from before 1752 belonged to one of the leading merchants: Hans Christian Voetmann.

Further down we find this row: nos. 20-16. The latter was built for Phillip Carl Schiller in 1739.
We have reached the harbour.
