våbenskjold

"Ramsherred"(litt. Shire of the Weed) denotes a street at the outskirts of a town the same way that "Grønnegade"(Green Street) refers to a thinner building mass. It's difficult to see in present day Aabenraa though.

In no. 45A the Pharmacy resided from 1852. The building itself was erected around 1840.

Further on we find Voetmann's Yard from 1880. Both before and after it belonged to the Voetmann family.
The street changes its name once more; this time to "Nørreport"(Northern Gate).

No. 30 is another merchant's yard belonging to Hans Ries and in operation as such up until 1977. This is another creation of the 1880-ies retaining the same owners.
We follow the bended street and crosses the tracks to the port.
