Vendersgade was also called Strandgade("Beach Street").

Just before crossing the railroad we find no. 63, called Krache's Yard from 1854.

By the next junction we can enjoy the old railway station, made obsolete by the building of the bridge across the Belt.

The tracks have been laid across the former fishmarket and the adjacent Kongens Palæ("King's Mansion"). The latter named so because it was sold in 1810 by the heir apparent of the Swedish throne, prince Chr. August of Augustenborg, to king Frederik vi.
We return to the town centre by way of Gothersgade("Goths' Street") parallel to Vendersgade.

In no. 34 we find the former arsenal from 1853, now community centre.
