Mill Stream is obviously named after a mill.
That mill is "Slotsvandmøllen"(The Palace Watermill), which in turn is named after Brundlund Palace("Brundlund" means brown wood).
Since 1470 the residence of prefect it never grew to much more than a gatehouse. The main building was built by C. F. Hansen in 1805-7. Today it houses the art collections of Christian Pansbo.
