våbenskjold

Formerly, the inner town was divided into a German and a Danish parish.

That's why Trinity is known as the Danish Church also(whereas St. Michael's is the German Church), depsite the division has been abandoned long ago.
We round the cementery and head west along Danmarksgade("Denmark Street"). It was originally known as Skånegade("Scania Street"), but as a consequence of losing the territory as a result of the Carl Gustav Wars(1657-60), the name was changed to Algade("Noble Street" - more or less equivalent to Main Street). Subsequently it became known as Klerkegade("Cleric Street").

No. 61 is the Deanery, later House of the Principal and Latin School, from 1770.
We round the corner to follow Kongensstræde("King's Narrow").

On the corner of the next street we find no. 39 Prinsensgade("Prince Street"), known as Mrs. Nielsen's House, from 1770.
We turn right here.
