
J. H. Blichmann is the great architect of this town.

No. 33 Strandlinien he created around 1780.

While the newer houses on the other side (here nos. 18-20) breaks the monotony.

Of old only Toldergade and Strandgade to the norht Zytfensgade to the south passable by coach for the harbour. The former name of the street is "Tulipangade"(Tulip Street - another name borrowed from Copenhagen), so the house on the southside therefore is called "Tulipanhuset"(Tulip House) and is another Blichmann building from 1780. Since 1906 it houses an asylum.
We proceed along Strandlinien to "Fiskergangen"(Fisher Walk).
