This street formerly carried the name "Sydgrønningen"(Southern Green), because the other side consisted completely of meadows, but nowadays both sides has been developed.

Fogdens Plads open into Rønne Allé a bit further on with the 18th Century houses no. 13

and no. 14.

The next street is "Blegerstræde"(Bleacher Alley) named after its no. 16.
The bleachery(and weawery) was located here 1857-1918, from 1864 in the posession by the family Bothmann, who still owns the building.
On the opposite corner we find the old school in no. 9.

The house end caries this inscription: "Tag herre i din varetægt, fra år til år fra slægt til slægt, hvad her blev opført i dit navn, til pris for dig og os til gavn"(Take Lord in your possession, from year to to year from gens to gens, what here was erected in your name, praises you and benefits us).
We turn right at "Vestgrønningen"(Western Green).
